FHOPE is the coil packaging brand of Shanghai Fhope Machinery Co., Ltd. (上海风鼎机械有限公司). From our works in Kunshan, Jiangsu, and our Shanghai office, we engineer, manufacture and commission wrapping, strapping and packing machinery for steel, slit, wire, copper, cable, hose, bearing and tyre coils — together with the conveyors, turnstiles, upenders and stackers around them. Machines are built to the customer’s coil dimensions, weight and handling method instead of a fixed catalogue size, and our engineers travel to coil processors, service centres and OEMs worldwide for installation, commissioning and operator training.

Mechanical design, fabrication, PLC programming, assembly and factory testing all happen under our own roof. Line layout is modelled in 3D before steel is cut, and the control package is built around a central PLC (Siemens / Rockwell / Mitsubishi) with HMI recipe memory, VFD and servo motion, plus an optional ERP / MES interface for coil traceability. Wrapping runs eye-through, horizontally or eye-to-wall, and coils are turned, conveyed and stacked by turnstile, upender and gantry stacker — combined on one line so a single system covers every coil your plant handles.
One machine platform, three ways to wrap a coil — with an integrated upender to change orientation instead of manual handling.
Eye-through wrapping stands the coil with its axis vertical and rotates a wrapping ring around it, feeding film, VCI film, kraft paper or woven material through the centre eye so the full coil surface is covered in continuous spiral layers at controlled tension. Horizontal and eye-to-wall modes cover master coils, slit coils and strip that cannot be tipped. FHOPE builds the wrapping station together with the turnstile, upender, conveyor and stacker around it, so each coil is turned, wrapped, strapped, weighed and stacked in one PLC-controlled flow.

Heavy coils are unforgiving, so guarding, interlocks, emergency stops and fail-safe PLC logic are designed in from the start, with CE and ISO 13849 safety requirements applied to the machine and its guarding. Every project leaves the factory with electrical drawings, operating manuals, spare-part lists and a factory acceptance test record — so maintenance, audits and future line extensions do not depend on us being on site.
