The economic type coil packaging line is a vertical line for handling and packing slitting coils. It automates coil feeding, packing and stacking, reduces labour costs by automating key tasks, and minimises the required operating space.
The vertical steel slitting coil packaging line presents an efficient, cost-effective solution tailored for the streamlined handling and packing of slitting coils. This system is engineered to provide advanced automation across coil feeding, packing, and stacking processes.
In operation, the slitting coil is lifted by a crane and positioned onto a dedicated coil trolley, seamlessly integrating into the packaging workflow. Once palletized, the coils transition to the stack turnover mechanism, from which they are moved toward the out-feeding conveyor. This synchronized process ensures that the packaging of slitting coils is not only handled automatically but also completed with remarkable precision and speed.
With this setup, the packaging line empowers the slitting center to achieve faster coil operations, optimizing overall production efficiency. Additionally, the system significantly reduces labour costs by automating key tasks, all while minimizing the required operational space.

- Coil Trolley
- The coil trolley is designed for loading and
- separating individual coils sequentially, ensuring they are properly
- placed into the coil packaging machine.
- ✧ The station is equipped with a trolley, coil positioning system, tracks, and control sensors for efficient operation.
- ✧ It also functions as temporary storage for slitting coils, organizing them before packaging.
- A motor system powers the trolley’s back-and-forth movement,
- providing smooth and reliable feeding of the coil into the packaging

Line Slit Coil Packing Line The slit coil handling and packaging line connects to a slitting line, picking up coils from the turnstile arm, and straps each coil through the eye at the coil tail. Non-ferrous coils can be wrapped in plastic stretch film for dust and moisture protection, and finished coils are stacked on a skid for storage and shipment.
